2006 Scholarship Winners

Each year, HAI Group awards $10,000 in scholarship money to residents of member PHA’s. Due to this year’s overwhelming response, an additional $15,000 was designated as supplemental scholarship money, allowing 15 more students to receive $1,000 of financial aid. In an effort to increase scholarship submissions, flyers were sent out to all members in early March, along with raised awareness for the program via the Web site. These efforts paid off as we received nearly 200 more submissions than last year. Congratulations to all this year’s winners.

The winners were chosen on the basis of the applicants' letters of recommendation and an essay response discussing:  "The factors both professional and personal that have influenced you in deciding your career path."

"Describe a personal achievement that has had a significant impact on your life and how the event has changed your outlook of yourself and how you perceive the world around you."
